Depends on the definition of "middle of nowhere." I grew up in the country where it was 20 minutes to the nearest grocery store and an hour from the nearest mall. That's fairly middle of nowhere. My Mom and Dad grew up in Salmon, ID population 2,000 and it's literally in the middle of nowhere. You drive 3 hours north of Idaho Falls through nothing but fields of cows and sage brush just to get there.
