If you were around last year, you know I'm a big advocate of free e-filing. If you made under $56,000 in 2008, go to http://www.irs.gov/efile/article/0,,id=118986,00.html
You'll be able to e-file for free. Once again if you live in Indiana, you'll be able to "i-file" for free no matter how much you make. www.in.gov for that one.
Last, but not least, if you have a tax question, you can go to hrblock.com and have it answered for free until Jan 31st. We all hate doing it, but knowing these tips might make it a little less painful.

oooo...thank you so much and I am so sorry that I haven't been by in a while...going back to work has seriously cut into my blogging and quilting time...I don't know if I really like that or not, but I must make money to buy more fabric!!!
Thanks for that link...I was looking for it and couldn't remember where it was...so...thanks.
Your letter will be L for Librarian and of course, you can use that word!

one more reason to love Texas -- no state income tax!
:)
Thank you for the tips!
And I so agree with Kara! 2008 was our first full year as Texas residents and we are looking forward to no state taxes!
