Honeymoon Day 1 Part 3, The neverending Drive

Yeah, that's what I thought of when I wrote the title. After Gypsy Gold, we got back on the road. It was THE LONGEST part of the trip. We drove and drove. And Drove and drove, and drove and drove. Traffic was horrendous from about Boca Raton to Hollywood. We were really done at that point. The Florida Turnpike cost us $11 and it was 6pm when we finally reached our hotel.

After some problems with keys, we got in and the room was very nice. 2 balconies, a beautiful shower, nice furniture etc. Remind me later to show you the picture of the running robe. You'll understand then. We immediately changed and headed out to the beach.

It was a beautiful beach, next to a wide pathway called the broadwalk. There were little windows in it that made for an excellent photo op.

We walked for a while and looked at it all, and then made our way to a karaoke place to meet some folks for dinner. Some of those singers were really serious.....

..... ABOUT SUCKING! It was entertaining. So finally, after about 36 hours awake, we finally went to sleep. Until tomorrow...

It was so beautiful down there. I wish we were still down there. It was weird how the water was so nice on that side of the state and so cold and ugly on the other side. The broadwalk was cool. It would be fun to walk or ride the whole length of the thing.
